Four Steps to Get Started

Complete the steps in order to prepare PureTrend for use.

Registration & License

Create your account and activate your free trial.

  1. Visit the PureTrend website and click Get Started.
  2. Complete the registration form with your details.
  3. Check your email inbox to verify and activate your account.
  4. Log in with your email address and password.
  5. Activate your free trial from your account dashboard.
  6. Copy your PureTrend license key and keep it ready.
Important: Account verification and trial license activation are separate steps. Complete both.

Download & Install

Download the official installer from your account.

  1. Go to the dashboard in My Account.
  2. Scroll down to the download section and click Download-EA.
  3. Download PureTrend_Setup.exe.
  4. Run the installer and follow the on-screen instructions.
  5. After selecting your preferred platform, enter the correct license number.
  6. Wait for the installation process to finish.
Important note: On some Windows versions, a message may appear during installation. This is normal; you can ignore it and click "More info" then "Run anyway" to continue.

Configure MetaTrader 5

Allow the connection required for license verification.

  1. Open your MetaTrader 5 platform.
  2. Go to Tools → Options (or press Ctrl + O).
  3. Select the Experts tab.
  4. Enable "Allow WebRequest for listed URL".
  5. Add the following website to the allowed list:
https://puretrend.net
  1. Click OK to save your settings.
The website must be added exactly as shown above. WebRequest permissions are required for online license checks.

Activate the EA & Launch

Run the setup script and verify successful activation.

  1. Enable Algo Trading from the toolbar at the top of the MT5 screen.
  2. From the Navigator panel on the left side of the MT5 screen.
  3. Under the Script section.
  4. Double-click PureTrend-temp.
  5. Or drag and drop the script onto your chart.
  6. Click OK and wait for the process to finish.
  7. Once finished, PureTrend-EA will appear at the top of the chart with a smiling face.
  8. Congratulations! The PureTrend-EA is now running successfully.
Final check: Make sure the license is accepted and the Expert Advisor (EA) is running correctly. Follow any error message instead of assuming activation has succeeded.

  • ✓ My account is verified and my trial license is activated.
  • ✓ I have installed PureTrend in the correct MT5 installation.
  • ✓ WebRequest is enabled for https://puretrend.net.
  • ✓ Algo Trading is enabled.
  • ✓ I entered my license key in the correct Inputs field.
  • ✓ I confirmed successful activation and checked the platform messages.
